Daniel W. Harbison is a Criminal Defense Attorney at Rozas who approaches every case with a meticulous, competitive spirit and a deep commitment to fairness. He represents clients facing serious criminal charges across Louisiana, providing the skilled defense and steadfast advocacy they deserve. Daniel believes that every person deserves a fair fight and works tirelessly to ensure his clients’ rights are protected at every stage of the process.
A Lafayette native, Daniel earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, where he graduated in 2024. During law school, he received the CALI Award in Obligations, attended the Annual Emerging Issues in Health Care Conference, and served as a student attorney in the Criminal Law Clinic. His early legal experience includes work with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, where he provided legal aid to underserved communities, and as a law clerk for several firms handling criminal defense, immigration, and personal injury matters. These experiences strengthened his resolve to use the law as a tool for justice and compassion.
Daniel’s passion for criminal defense stems from his belief that no one should face the system alone. What drives him most is seeing the results of hard work — the moment when preparation, teamwork, and persistence lead to a dismissal or a not-guilty verdict. He thrives in high-stakes environments and brings a level of focus and dedication that reflects his belief in every client’s right to a strong defense.
When he’s not in the courtroom or researching case law, Daniel enjoys hiking with his dogs, powerlifting, and spending time with his loved ones.
