Sammons K. Corbett
Sammons K. Corbett is a dedicated criminal defense attorney at Rozas, where he represents clients facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives. With a deep respect for the Constitution and a competitive drive to protect individual rights, Sammons brings a sharp, strategic approach to defending those accused of crimes. He is committed to giving each case his full attention, understanding that a person’s freedom and future may be on the line.
Raised on the North Shore of Boston, Sammons earned his undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Political Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He went on to attend the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU, where he quickly distinguished himself in the courtroom—earning finalist honors in the Flory Criminal Trial competition and winning the Flory Civil Trial. During law school, he externed with the Honorable William Jorden and developed a strong foundation in courtroom practice.
Sammons pursued a legal career for the same reason he was drawn to high-level trial competitions: the challenge and the stakes. He views each case as an opportunity to advocate fearlessly for his clients and to ensure their rights are upheld. “I’m constitutionally bound to represent my clients to the best of my ability,” he says, “and I take that responsibility seriously.” He’s especially motivated by the fight—by using the law as both a shield and a sword—and by the pure satisfaction of winning.
Outside the courtroom, Sammons keeps up with high-profile criminal trials, cheers on the Boston Celtics and LSU Football, and shares his life with two rescue dogs—Olive, an Italian Greyhound, and Little Miss Sunshine, a chihuahua mix he and his fiancée adore. He’s also an avid diver and has swam with bull sharks in Fiji and great white sharks in South Africa. If you’re facing serious charges, you want someone who doesn’t flinch under pressure, Attorney Sammons Corbett is that kind of attorney.
