Kenneth A. Mayeaux has been practicing law since 1986 and has dedicated much of his career to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal challenges. As the founder of Mayeaux & Associates L.C., Mr. Mayeaux built a practice focused on serving immigrant communities and helping families pursue new opportunities in the United States.

Mayeaux & Associates is now part of Rozas Law Firm, allowing Mr. Mayeaux and his team to expand the resources available to clients throughout Baton Rouge and the greater Louisiana area. He is excited to continue serving immigrant families while providing clients with access to the broader support and resources of Rozas Law Firm.

A Mission Focused on Helping Immigrant Families

After more than a decade representing corporations in federal and state court litigation, Mr. Mayeaux shifted his focus toward serving the Latin American community. His dedication to this mission began through his work as a missionary in Mexico and later as an immigration detention chaplain in Arizona.

In 2007, Mr. Mayeaux returned to legal practice as an immigration attorney with Catholic Charities in Baton Rouge. He later served as a professor of law at LSU Law School in Baton Rouge before founding Mayeaux & Associates L.C. in 2014.

Since transitioning to immigration law, Mr. Mayeaux has maintained one central mission: helping immigrants and their families build new lives in the United States.

Education and Legal Background

Mr. Mayeaux earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1986, where he served on the Law Review from 1984 through 1986.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of New Orleans in 1983.
