Kristi Rozas-Johnson serves as a Legal Assistant in the Criminal Defense Department at Rozas, where she brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to every client interaction. Guided by a deep belief in fairness and dignity for all, Kristi takes pride in supporting a team that stands beside clients when they need it most. Her work reflects Rozas’ commitment to treating every person like family and ensuring that justice truly serves everyone.

Raised in Evangeline Parish, Kristi earned her degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland’s European Division in Heidelberg, Germany. Before joining Rozas in 2025, she spent many years as a dedicated English Pre-AP teacher and community leader, co-founding the Sacred Heart Ministry and serving as a team presenter for Retrouvaille of Baton Rouge. These experiences shaped her ability to communicate with empathy, think critically, and support others through life’s most challenging moments—skills she now applies daily in her legal work.

What drives Kristi is the fulfillment of knowing that each day ends with having helped someone who may have felt unseen or abandoned by society. She finds great meaning in being part of the firm’s criminal defense team, where collaboration and genuine care for clients come first.

Outside of work, Kristi enjoys traveling, daily running, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. A proud member of the Rozas family, she is the sister of David Rozas, Greg Rozas, and Barry Rozas—continuing a family legacy dedicated to justice and service.
