Rozas Law Firm is pleased to welcome attorney Ken Mayeaux, along with the attorneys and staff of Mayeaux & Associates L.C., to our firm.

The transition will take place during July and August 2026. It brings together two Baton Rouge legal teams that share a commitment to helping immigrants, individuals and families navigate challenging legal matters.

Continued Service for Mayeaux & Associates Clients

Clients who choose to continue their representation will keep working with Mr. Mayeaux and the legal team they already know, now as part of Rozas Law Firm. Calls, communications and legal matters will continue without interruption.

The primary change is the firm through which Mr. Mayeaux and his team will practice. By joining Rozas Law Firm, the Mayeaux team will gain access to the resources and support of an established firm with deep roots in immigration law and criminal defense.

Mayeaux & Associates clients remain in control of their legal representation. They may choose to continue with Mr. Mayeaux and his team at Rozas Law Firm or select another attorney. Current clients will receive direct information explaining the transition and their available options.

About Attorney Ken Mayeaux

Ken Mayeaux has practiced law since 1986. During the first decade of his career, he represented corporations in federal and state court litigation. He later devoted himself to serving the Latin American community, first as a missionary in Mexico and then as an immigration detention chaplain in Arizona.

In 2007, Mr. Mayeaux returned to legal practice as an immigration attorney with Catholic Charities in Baton Rouge. He later served as a law professor at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center before founding Mayeaux & Associates L.C. in 2014.

Since focusing his practice on immigration law, Mr. Mayeaux has worked with one central mission: helping immigrants and their families build new lives in the United States.

Through Mayeaux & Associates, he developed a fully bilingual team serving immigrant families in deportation defense, family-based immigration and other legal matters that can affect their futures. The firm has also assisted clients facing criminal charges, divorce, domestic abuse protection matters, car accidents and workplace accidents.

Mr. Mayeaux brings decades of legal experience, a strong connection to the Baton Rouge community and a longstanding commitment to serving immigrant families.

Rozas’ Commitment to Louisiana Clients

Attorney David Rozas founded Rozas Law Firm in 2004. The firm represents clients in immigration, criminal defense and family law matters and is committed to serving Louisiana’s diverse communities.

A Louisiana native, David served in the United States Army, specializing in Military Intelligence, before attending LSU Law School. He passed the Louisiana Bar Exam in July 2004 and has represented clients through Rozas Law Firm ever since.

David is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience helping members of Louisiana’s Hispanic community address immigration and criminal defense matters.

The addition of Mr. Mayeaux and his team strengthens Rozas Law Firm’s ability to provide accessible, bilingual legal guidance to individuals and families throughout Baton Rouge and across Louisiana.

Why this Transition Matters

Welcoming Ken Mayeaux and the Mayeaux & Associates team represents an important step forward for both firms. This transition expands the resources available to clients while preserving the trusted attorney relationships Mayeaux & Associates clients have developed.

We are honored to welcome Mr. Mayeaux and his team to Rozas Law Firm and look forward to continuing their mission of helping immigrants and their families build secure futures in the United States.
