Ivon Rodriguez
Ivon Rodriguez is an immigration attorney at Rozas, where she helps individuals and families navigate complex legal pathways to secure their future in the United States. Based out of our immigration department, Ivon focuses her practice on family-based immigration, removal defense, and humanitarian relief. Her approach is grounded in compassion, clarity, and an unwavering belief in every person’s right to pursue safety and opportunity.
A proud first-generation attorney, Ivon was raised in Miami, Florida, and earned her law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2021. During law school, she earned a Certificate in Immigration Practice and received the CALI Book Award in Immigration Law. She served as Vice President of the Immigration Law Student Association and was a student representative for the Immigration Clinic. Her commitment to the field also led her to intern with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Office of the Principal Legal Advisor. She holds dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Florida International University.
Ivon’s decision to become an immigration attorney is deeply personal. As the daughter of immigrants, she understands the fear, hope, and uncertainty that many clients experience. That understanding fuels her drive to educate, advocate, and walk beside her clients every step of the way. “What motivates me most is knowing that my work can help keep families together and open the door to a new beginning,” Attorney Ivon Rodriguez says.
